I like these coals because they have a good long and hot burn time. I prefer to break mine up into smaller pieces more than what the 3 grooves used to snap them apart let you. It helps me control the heat as well as save coal.

I prefer these coals over any other that I've used. They last long and provide good heat and most of all, they are cheap. My only problem with them is that sometimes they break uneven.
